III. There are many possible solutions to this problem. The possible solutions are: (Two articles must be attached and annotated bibliography)
In order to stop illegal immigrants to from coming in to the country we have to cut back on what is making them come into the United States. The reasons that these illegal aliens come into our country is for the jobs that we provide and what they are trying to escape from, from their own country. Also another solution to this problem is to send the illegal immigrants back to their country of origen once they are proven not to be a U.S. citizen. More fences could be put up on the border between neighboring countries along with more border patrol. More restrictions could be put in place that allows people into the U.S. Another solution is that no more immigrants should be let into the U.S. which then we can focus only on catching the illegal aliens that are already in the country.
IV. The solution I (we) propose is: allow state law official the right to question any person they suspect to be an illegal alien for proof of citizenship.
(This section will become your proposed legislation. Be sure to include what agency will implement your law, proposed cost if any and effective date)
Along with what I propose, state officials wouldnt be allowed to export illegal aliens out of the country but once the illegal aliens are questioned and proven not to be a U.S. citizen they will then be handed over to that state's officials and can then either begin the process of trying to be a U.S. citizen or they can be incarcerated. The only people that would be allowed to question the illegal aliens, are trained state law enforcement officials such as state police, because they would have the proper training to determine if they were actually a U.S. citizen or not. This would begin January 1, 2012 and this would allow any state to have their own officials be able to question anyone they feel suspicious to be an illegal alien.
V. I (we) think this solution will work because: (You must use factual information to prove your solution will work)
I think this solution would work because it gives more states the oppotunity to allow their own officials the ability to question anyone they feel to be an illegal alien in their own country. Some states have more illegal immigrartion problems than others and that is why that state should have the control on how to find illegal aliens. This is the only way that allows the state police to find illegal aliens because it is hard to find illegal aliens. Illegal aliens could be walking right by a police officer in any state and that officer doesnt have the right to question them to show their proof of U.S. citizenship. With this bill more illegal aliens will be found because it allows the police to question anyone they feel to be an illegal alien, which in turn would have more illegal aliens be caught and turned over to state officials. This bill would be enforced by each state's law enforcement agency, wheteher it be the state police, county police, or creating a new immigration control agency for their own state.
